​​​​​​​The NZ Junior Girls Rugby Festival is proudly dedicated to uplifting young wāhine through sport — and in 2025, we’re bringing that energy to a brand-new home in Lower Hutt. This festival is a celebration of courage, confidence and connection. It’s where girls take the field, take up space, and show the country what the future of rugby looks like.

LOCATION: Fraser Park, Lower Hutt

The NZJGRF creates a space where tamariki and rangatahi can be fierce, fearless, and fully themselves. Over three powerful days, hundreds of junior wāhine from across Aotearoa will come together to compete, connect, and build each other up — both on and off the field.

Whether they’re taking part in their very first tournament or returning for another unforgettable weekend with their teammates, this is their stage​​​​​​​. A place where they’re seen, supported, and celebrated — for more than just their sporting talent.
